Rodeo FX delivered 17 shots for Terminator Salvation including a major 3D environment, matte paintings, compositing and complex plate reconstruction. Terminator Salvation is Rodeo FX’s second collaboration with ILM, having previously worked with the industry leader on Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in 2007. “It was a pleasure to work with Ben Snow, and the ILM team on Terminator Salvation” said Sebastien Moreau, Founder of Rodeo FX. “The Terminator franchise is known for its powerful and innovative effects, and Rodeo FX is honored to have contributed to this legacy.” Rodeo FX shot work included a sequence featuring a CG environment of a post-apocalyptic Golden Gate Bridge, including a full CG shot with a traveling camera to reveal the devastation.
