The Worst Witch is a British-German fantasy children’s television series about a group of young witches at a school for magic. It stars Bella Ramsey and is based on The Worst Witch books by Jill Murphy (published 1974–2018).

The Worst Witch – Season 3 VFX Breakdown Work Done by Flipbook Studio used a little of our own magic to produce over 600 Visual Effects shots for series 3 of CBBC’s The Worst Witch. A well-known childhood favorite, the series follows Mildred Hubble and other young witches becoming students at Cackle’s Academy for magic, following their mischief and comedic mishaps along the way. The Worst Witch was co-produced between the BBC, ZDF in Germany and Netflix internationally.
The Flipbook team produced high-end VFX and supervision throughout the 13-episode series, applying a plethora of magical effects including smoking cauldrons, disappearing spells, and floating objects. Flipbook team also crafted a multitude of CGI creatures and Digi-doubles for the series, such as giant Venus flytraps, golden frogs and flying owls.
