Based on David Grann’s 2017 novel of the same name, Killers of the Flower Moon is a 2023 American epic Western murder drama film that Martin Scorsese both directed and produced. He also co-wrote the script with Eric Roth. The story revolves around a string of killings perpetrated in the 1920s in the Osage Nation in Oklahoma when oil was found on tribe grounds. In addition to Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, Tantoo Cardinal, John Lithgow, and Brendan Fraser playing supporting parts, the movie stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, and Lily Gladstone. It is Scorsese and DiCaprio’s sixth feature picture together, and it is Scorsese and De Niro’s tenth.
