Can you introduce yourself to our audience?
Henry Lipatov – Award Winning Director, Producer, Visual Effects Supervisor. He received an Award for the Best Visual Effects in “A Tricky Treat” short film in Cannas, 2015. And he received an Award as Director for the Best Music Video “Wanna Be Younk” CKF INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL, South Film, and Arts Academy Festival, TOP SHORTS FILM FESTIVAL 2019, founder of Beverly Films. He is also well-known as a director for his films: Colors of Souls (2015), The Secret Game (2017), TV Show – Magic7 (2018), and multiple Music Videos. Director, Producer, VFX Supervisor of such Music Videos as “Limitless” Jennifer Lopez, “I am phenomenal” and “Framed” EMINEM, “Heartbeat” Kelly Clarkson, “Privacy”, “Questions”, “Tempo” Chris Brown, and many others. Henry started his directing career in Ukraine as a music video and a commercial director. With great success in the European market, Henry has moved over to the USA working with top American artists and brands. Having a broad and versatile experience as a director Henry transitioned into the film and the television world. Among his latest works are “LA RUSH” with Elija Wood, “Wanna be Younk” with Sid Wilson (“Slipknot”)

I did 12 years of yoga and meditation
What are the challenges you faced in your career and how did you overcome them?
Usually, the most serious challenge is Time 🙂 everyone wants jobs to be done by yesterday:) So we usually invite more people to work with “BeverlyFilms”, to Make everything on time:)
What it’s like to act in front of a green screen and in a live location?
For me acting is the most important thing. It’s doesn’t matter if it’s filmed on the green screen or not. Nowadays we are very often using Unreal Engine. Speeding up the processes.
How do you prepare yourself if you are going to act in front of a green screen?
It is very important to prepare yourself before starting an action. There are several Technics. Very very happy to use it.
What is the knowledge an actor/actress should know about filmmaking and visual effects?
Actors should know that they need to step few steps from green, so there are no reflections
What is the knowledge a director should have about filmmaking and visual effects before making a movie?
Director should know how to entertain people who came to eat films:-)
