Der Greif, also Hohlbeins – Der Greif is a German television series starring Jeremias Meyer, Lea Drinda, Zoran Pingel and Theo Trebs. It was directed by Sebastian Marka (episodes 1, 2, 5 and 6) and Max Zahle (episodes 3 and 4) based on an idea by Sebastian Marka and Erol Yesilkaya, who also acted as showrunners. The screenplay by Boris Dennulat, Stefanie Veith, Erol Yesilkaya and Senad Halilbašić is based on the 1989 fantasy novel Der Greif by Wolfgang Hohlbein and Heike Hohlbein. The series was released on Amazon’s Prime Video in May 2023.
