Veteran Animation and visual effects stalwart Ashish Kulkarni has joined PhantomFX as an advisor, bringing a wealth of industry experience and knowledge to the company.

Kulkarni, who has worked in the Animation industry for many years, has a proven track record of success and a deep understanding of the field. In his new role at PhantomFX, he will be working closely with the team to help them achieve their goals and take the company to new heights.

This is an exciting development for PhantomFX and the AVGC industry as a whole, as Kulkarni’s expertise will help drive innovation and creativity in the field. The company is thrilled to have him on board and looks forward to working with him in the future. 

Mr. Ashish Kulkarni has served as the Chairman of the AVGC forum at FICCI and MCCIA. By introducing India as a new outsourcing hub for animation and visual effects, Ashish brought in the opportunity for the Indian AVGC industry to grow to international standards. 

Ashish visioned a future in which India was not caged in the confines of outsourcing but would compete globally in the arena of original IP creation.

He has created the finest original Indian animated content, such as his magnum opus Little Krishna (2009) and Shaktiman (2011). Krishna and Kans was India’s first animated stereoscopy 3D feature film, released in three languages – Hindi, English, and Tamil. Currently, he is working on projects such as War Heroes of India, Mary Kom Jr., Amazing Kids, Monkey Creek, and Map Jacket.

Kulkarni, renowned as an AVGC guru, has also extended to mentor budding artists by introducing creative career programs and developing curriculums in various institutes. He organized workshops for parents and youth in over 70 cities to promote careers in AVGC. He has also been part of technical and creative teams that have developed and implemented new techniques and processes in the AVGC field.

Being one of the pioneers in animation production & education and a great contributor to the AVGC industry, Ashish Kulkarni is a respected AVGC industry stalwart, known for his technical proficiency and creative vision. With his addition as an advisor at PhantomFX, he brings a unique perspective and skills to help the company achieve its goals.
